1. What we do not collect
ClaimLedge is built as a set of client-side utilities. Every calculation — settlement estimates, fine projections, premium models — executes locally in your browser using JavaScript. We do not operate accounts, forms that transmit personal data, lead capture systems, or any backend database of user inputs. The numbers you type into a calculator never leave your device.
2. Information collected automatically
Like virtually all websites, our hosting infrastructure may record standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operational purposes. We may also use privacy-respecting, aggregate traffic analytics. These data are not linked to calculator inputs, because those inputs never reach our servers.
3. Advertising cookies — Google AdSense disclosure
This site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and its partners. The following disclosure applies to that advertising, as required by Google's program policies:

EEA and UK visitors (GDPR/UK GDPR): Where required, a consent management prompt is shown before personalized advertising cookies are set. You may withdraw consent at any time via the consent controls on the site. You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, and objection regarding any personal data held about you; because we hold essentially none, most requests resolve instantly by design.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising of our own. Advertising cookies set by Google and its partners operate under their own opt-out mechanisms described in Section 4.
6. Children's privacy
This site is directed at adults researching legal and insurance matters. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

If our data practices change — for example, if we introduce optional email features — we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
